The Challenge
Kadi AG, an innovative manufacturer of potato products and frozen specialties for the Swiss food service industry, has laid the foundations for efficient energy optimization by deploying energy management from Tesenso AG, a leading IoT system integrator. The implementation was done as a retrofit solution, integrating old meters such as water, electricity and gas into the Tesenso middleware. Connectivity across the site was ensured using LoRaWAN, which enabled reliable transmission of data and easy monitoring with minimal construction effort.A special highlight of the cooperation was the self-developed Tesenso hardware M-Bus bridge, which was used purposefully. This bridge enabled a simple and reliable transmission of the M-Bus data via LoRaWAN to the server and contributed significantly to the success of the solution.
